Hi, Great blog as always, thank you for the time you take to do this. Any chance of getting arial map (email) with some fishing areas associated with Bribie and best tide times to fish these spots. I drove out from Brisbane on the 11th around 3 hr before low tide and waded out in the area between the old oyster jetty and the green channel marker. Used a range of plastics and makes etc with your 1/8 jig head. only managed one small flathead and that was on the way back and by the bridge pier posts 5. Do you fish on the grass beads or avoid them?
The edges of the grass beds are the ideal spot to aim your lure or bait. This is where flathead love to ambush anything coming out of the weed/ seagrass. If you look back through the archive you will see a few google maps which show good fishing spots.
